Chris Barr provides leadership to Canopy One Federal, focused on growing Federal services and technology business. He provides oversight of all aspects of business development activities that include strategy, prospecting to government customers, as well as managing the division’s operating plan and budget. Mr. Barr manages key customer relationships, participates in closing strategic opportunities, and establishes joint plan for branding, lead generation, and awareness.

Mr. Barr's passion for delivering results has earned him a reputation as a proven and reliable leader. With 33 years of Federal sales and executive management experience, Mr. Barr has a passion for leading people to solve problems, he has consistently expanded market share and grown business revenue. Having won over $600M of Federal Contracts, Mr. Barr has successfully built and expanded six Federal business development divisions and has deep knowledge of Civilian clients and technology partners spanning the IT and Communications industries. Mr. Barr has leadership experience at large firms such as SRA and ICF, as well as highly reputable small businesses such as Veracity Consulting and ECCO Select.
Chris has four children, three dogs and two cats, and lives in Gaithersburg, MD.
