Shaun Manchand

Shaun Manchand is responsible for driving strategic business development to support the company’s growth and business strategy. Mr. Manchand is an accomplished and respected technology veteran with more than 25 years of experience across a variety of industries including communications, media, entertainment, banking, financial services, & insurance, healthcare (payor). Prior to Canopy One, Shaun held sales & delivery leadership positions at KPMG, Infosys, Capgemini, Tata Consultancy Services, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is an advocate bridging the digital divide by deploying more broadband in the U.S. and served as a reviewer for the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP) under the Obama Administration. Mr. Manchand began his career at AT&T where, most notably, he successfully filed expert testimony with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) attesting to the discriminatory practices of the incumbent local exchange carrier which adversely impacted California residential and business customers.

Mr. Manchand received his BA from the University of Vermont and his MPP from the University of Michigan. He also attended the Executive Leadership Development Program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, mountain biking, skiing and traveling with his family.
